As a child, Alastair was keen on getting involved with the construction world. His father, a carpenter running a small building company in London, was an inspiration.

QS Training

The Turning Point

At the age of 17, Alastair took up an opportunity from a family friend to train as a junior quantity surveyor. Starting from the bottom, he slowly began showing his potential.

Perth & Regional WA

Measure Manage is Born

At this point, his experience and wealth of knowledge led to the founding of Measure Manage. Alastair is today a successful quantity surveyor and business owner in Perth.

Journey to Excellence

He completed his BSc in Quantity Surveying from the University of Ulster, moved to Australia, and continued his professional development as a quantity surveyor. Measure Manage is RICS & AIQS Accredited. Today, Alastair is a successful quantity surveyor and business owner at Measure Manage in Perth, married with two daughters, and continuously pursuing his passion for learning.
